The past few months have been pretty interesting for me. Although it may not be visible from my everyday mundane tasks, they have brought much growth, challenges, and even some change. Most importantly they have brought me closer to God and Jesus Christ. As I sat at the piano tonight I came upon a Jenny Phillips song and it totally and completely hit me. I finally had an emotional release that was a long time coming. For the few people that do check up on my blog every once in a while, I wanted to share the song. It's called "True to You" by Jenny Phillips. When I lived in Utah I sang in Jenny's fireside group at least once a month. She is one of the most amazing woman I have ever met in my life. She lives a life of true dedication to her beliefs and is a disciple of Jesus Christ in every aspect of her life. She is one of those people that you talk to and they just make you want to be a better person. Her songs have always had a peace for me but this one tonight was definitely an answer to prayers.

Selah
Tonight a Christian band called Selah played at the First Assembly of God church in Binghamton. We've had one of their Cd's for years and my mom has always loved it. Their music and the stories behind the songs are very touching and inspiring. It was a neat sight to see this huge building filled with all different Christian believers who are trying to do good and better their relationship that they have with their Savior. This song I've posted below is a song called Unredeemed. This song is one that really speaks to my heart. We all have our own struggles and sorrows in this life. This song is a reminder to me that my Savior knows of those hardships, that they do not go unnoticed, and they will be reconciled somehow, even if we do not understand. He will never leave us alone and is always by our side leading and guiding us. He knows us far better than we know ourselves and he is so aware of our every move and decision. I know that my Savior lives and atoned for not only my sins but for my sorrows and my heartache. Here is Selah- Unredeemed.
